Onboard your agency with GoPass® in just one month.

Did you know that transit agencies can be onboarded onto Dallas Area Rapid Transit's (DART) existing GoPass® solution, powered by Kuba's mobility platform, in less than a month?

GoPass® is the perfect solution for agencies and cities that want to get up and running with a mobile app quickly and easily. Any agency in the US, regardless of size, can be added to GoPass® and benefit from a well-developed app with over a decade of progress.

GoPass® is an award-winning app developed by Kuba in partnership with DART. It incorporates journey planning, travel bookings, and payments.

So how do I get on board with GoPass®

  • The first stage involves the new agency completing an onboarding checklist. They will be asked to provide all the necessary agency-specific assets for onboarding, such as logos, pictures, text, fare policies, etc. For some agencies, this can mean working with third parties. Once this has been completed, we are ready to get started!

  • Kuba, DART, and the new agency have a kickoff meeting. DART acts as a project manager, planning the delivery and preparing all the necessary documentation for the agency to review. Kuba's role in the meetings is to answer any technical questions, review the information from the agency, and provide feedback.

  • When we receive the completed checklist, Kuba's support team thoroughly reviews all the materials provided. Then, we configure the agency's profile in GoPass®'s back office in a staging or sandbox environment. This process typically takes a week.

  • This staging version of the agency's instance of GoPass® is then sent to the transit agency for testing. Over the next week, several sessions will be set up to onboard and train agency staff and answer any questions about the testing app. Based on their feedback, minor adjustments to the app can be made during this period.

  • Once everything is configured, Kuba will do all the necessary demos and app distributions.

  • Once the agency verifies everything is correct in the staging environment and completes all the training, a date is selected for the agency to go live, which typically takes a few days.

  • Kuba then moves the configuration from staging to production, launching the agency on the GoPass® platform.

  • DART conducts the agency's training after the app is launched. DART trains the new agency on using the system, especially the customer support part.

The entire process takes approximately a month from the receipt of the completed onboarding checklist.

During the first month, Kuba assists with financial reporting and operational support to ensure all is well. After that, the agency is fully up and running.

DART takes the project/account manager role and Kuba takes the technical support/developer one.

Whenever updates to the solution are implemented, all agencies will receive these updates automatically.

It couldn't be simpler or faster to add your agency to this existing ecosystem and start making public transit the easy and great-value option in your area.
