The latest version of GoPass®, powered by Kuba, has been launched with the following new features.

Expanding service alerts display

Service alerts transmitted via GTFS-RT for routes or stops will now be shown in various app sections. This includes the homepage stop carousel, journey results, journey details, route information, stop information, and live vehicle view.

Agency-driven event tickets

Agencies can now add event tickets. The featured event carousel has been expanded to allow ticket sales when necessary. Agencies can link these tickets to existing managed events. Depending on the configuration, the new tickets will appear in the featured and nearby events sections, making them available for users to purchase.

Adding a note to bookings

A new feature for adding notes has been introduced in the booking flow for on-demand providers with this option enabled.

These notes could include specific instructions for the driver connected to the pickup location - it might be hard to find, or maybe there is a better location to stop. This is even more important to paratransit riders with mobility issues - the service is usually curb to curb. However, a specific location might be better to approach with a wheelchair than another.

The aim is to expand this to other providers in time.

Updated on-demand journey screen

The on-demand booking details screen has been updated to display passenger information and booking notes when available.

Intermediate stops on the map

Intermediate stops are now shown on the map within journey details, enhancing the overall customer experience.

The main improvement is that once a journey is planned and selected, intermediate stops are displayed on the map, showing the total number of stops. Riders can go back and choose an alternative route with fewer stops if desired. Additionally, riders can see their current location on the map, allowing them to verify where they are and how much of the journey is remaining.
